Final Paper Package Submission

Please notice that by sending your final paper package to CDVE2018, you agree to fulfill the obligation of making one early registration per paper with the registration fee paid as required. This registration fee is not refundable.  Only the papers with registration fee paid will be published in the proceedings. Please double check your paper before submitting to avoid further changes. 

Please send your final package to the conference email: cdve2018 at easychair.org before July 10, 2018.  The mail title should include your paper number as "paper no. ... final version". At the same time, upload your final paper in .pdf format to the Easychair system in the same submission number.

If the payment is made before July 10, you can pay the early registration fee. After July 10, you should pay the normal registration fee. All payments should add the extra purchase fee and bank charge fee. Please see the registration form for more details.

Please use the Easychair paper number to name your package. For example submission 34, the .zip should be named 34.zip. The mail title should be "Paper 34 final version". Please make sure that you include the following 3 items in your paper package:

1) All related files of your paper strictly following the instructions of  LNCS templates, particularly the paper format:
choice 1) .pdf with .doc. The name of the file should be the number of your paper on Easychair, such as 24.pdf, 24.doc
choice 2) .pdf and all your files in Latex.

Please control the page width exactly as the template. Please do not make the page wider or you will delay the process of your paper.

2) LNCS copyright form: Please fill up the form and print it out. After, sign the form and scan it. You can send in .pdf format and not a picture. Please save it in smaller file size before you put it into the package.

3) Early registration payment proof copy of at least one author per paper.  Without payment proof, the paper will not be included in the proceedings book for publication.

For a full paper, the limit is 8 pages and 4 pages for short papers. If your paper is too long, a limited number of extra pages can be purchased in your registration form. 

CDVE2018 paper submission

Abstract submission: It is not required. You can submit your complete paper directly. However, you are welcome to submit a one page abstract to get some feedback for your full paper writing. Feedback will be sent to you in a couple days after your submission. You can submit it to our easychair submission page. Abstract submission remains open until the full paper submission deadline.

Each abstract should include and only include:
Title, author names, affiliations, emails, keywords, and the abstract. Maximum 2 pages with A4 size.

Full paper submission - 8 pages. Submission deadline: April 20, 2018.

Title, author names, affiliations, emails, keywords, abstract and main text. Maximum 8 pages.

You should follow strictly the LNCS instructions and format to submit your paper.

At this stage, you don’t need to send copyright forms, only a copy of .pdf of your paper in the right format.

You will need an Easychair account to submit your abstract. If you do not have an account in Easychair before, you can sign up an account on this page by clicking the link  "Create an account".

If you have submitted an abstract, please use the same account to submit your paper using resubmit.

Short  paper submission - 4 pages. Submission deadline: May 10, 2018.

All the requirement is the same for short papers except that the paper should be limited to 4 pages and the contents can be intermediate results of a project.

 The papers will pass a peer review and only accepted papers will be published in the proceedings.

Poster Paper submission. Submission deadline : June 20, 2018
Abstract submission: please use Easychair system to submit your poster paper abstract. You can upload it as .pdf. The URL is:  http://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=cdve2018
Poster papers will not be included in the proceedings. It will have a time slot during the conference for display if accepted. Some poster papers may have a chance to present orally.

One page PowerPoint presentation size A0 or A1 which contains:
Title, Author names, Affiliations, emails, abstract, keywords, and main text outlines in a couple small sections with figures.  Extra pages are available by purchasing in your early registration form online.
